History

Ruth the co-founder of Blink offers over 25 years of proven national and international experience.

Ruth started her freelance practice in 2000 as Ruth Hayden Design, then co-founded Blink Studio with Edward Trost in 2004.

Blink has worked with some of Australia's largest companies and dynamic small businesses. Over the years we have applied our experience and solved communication problems for clients in a dynamic market. 


Where we work from

Our clients told us that since the GFC they don't want to pay for the beautiful office and glitzy overheads – that all just feels 'too important' now. (We asked them – they told us – we listened).

So we ditched the office (formerly on Latrobe Terrace in Paddington), and custom built a studio next to our home in Bardon.  Find out about who you will work with here

About Ruth

Since 1988, Ruth Hayden has created design solutions for a number of leading Australian businesses including the Commonwealth Bank, Arnotts, AMP, Merck Sharp and Dohme, Westpac, Perpetual, RE/MAX Australia, HPM, WorkCover Qld, Richmond Fellowship Qld and The Smith Family. Most recently her focus has been on brand design integrated with online media and marketing for growing business and branding, design and online media for medium size Australian business with global reach.

Vicki Englund has been working professionally as a contracted writer since 1995, with many satisfied and returning clients. Her experience ranges from copywriting for websites and brochures; writing, editing and proofreading for government departments; writing feature articles and columns in local, national and international publications; and writing and editing scripts for educational DVDs and television programs.
